You don’t really understand Star Trek until you’ve seen Galaxy Quest.
Galaxy Quest is the best of all the Star Trek movies.
New pendant from The Glassy Geek.
“I have several other variations in the kiln at the moment, experimenting with design ideas and techniques. This one is fused glass, layered white on translucent blue, about 2” tall by 1” wide. The image is sepia tone, and is permanent. I can do any image, graphic or text, so if there’s something in particular you’d like, let me know! Want that awesome photo of you and your favorite celebrity on a pendant? Yeah, I can do that, too.”
So I met a guy I really liked. He really liked me, too. Things were going well. In fact, they were going so well, he felt like we were heading toward a serious relationship…and so he ended it.
Yesterday, it occurred to me that there’s this one other guy I know who would give anything to be mine. I’m not at all attracted to him, never have been, but he’s told me he loves me, said he still loves me many years after I told him I had no interest. I know for a fact that if I ever said I’d have him, he’d be on the next plane here…but he’s just not my type.
All I can think of is what he would say if he knew someone walked away from a good relationship with me, all because things were going too well.
My life is a strange place.

I posted this some time ago. Update: Yes, actually, there IS actually at least one other guy like this out there, right down to the kilt! Who knew? :) Happiness is a guy who brings a Doctor Who toy as a first date gift.
So I’m single, and a friend asked me the other day what kind of man I found attractive. I said,
Sadly, he lives in another country and is married to another woman. Sucks for me. So, thinking more generally, I said he’s got to have:
Nice eyes. I always notice a man’s…
Okay, now THAT’S a cool picture of that stained glass piece. :)
So if you’ve got about $450 or so lying around…
So remember when I said Paul McGann will be in Orlando next weekend? He’s going to have company. Gareth David-Lloyd will be joining him. July 20th, with an event preview on July 19th if you’re pre-registered.
See you there! :)
